Overview

Designs By SD, LLC is structured as a Veteran owned SDB. The founder is a successful, awarded, patented inventor, with advanced expertise in project and process management, building design, manufacturing, R&D, and business modeling. The company has over 20 combined years of field experience in construction project management and over 12 years in statistical process control. The founder has a solid track record for innovation and problem solving.

The team has over 100 years of combined experience in oil/gas, manufacturing, construction design/ build, process engineering, aeronautical engineering, business management, and public safety expertise.

PROCESS FLOW

To address the dynamic change of process flow, we offer our customers structured solutions to manage the entire value stream. From layout to manufacturing to closeout, we will identify flow constraints and process waste to reduce the level of operational variance associated with scaled productions. With an introduction to Process Flow Kinetics (PFKs), process best practices will become second nature. We not only address the process but the business culture as a whole.

PROCESS CONTROLS

Process controls are key to identifying and managing variation in your operations. Reducing waste, increasing throughput and low non-conformance are some the benefits of implementing proper controls, in the day-to-day functions. We will work alongside your decision makers to baseline your current state of process variation and help to establish a leaner future state.

PROCESS MAPPING

Sometimes understanding and visualizing the mechanical flow of your many operations can be difficult. We help our customers identify the interaction between these touchpoints, determining the significance they have on the process flow. Various graphical methods are used to illustrate and conclude best practices for mapping the entire value stream on a micro level, to achieve optimal process throughput and higher customer satisfaction.
